How long will my Tier 1 General visa be valid?
Tier 1 (General) Visas are initially granted for 3 years. Following this, applicants may extend their leave for a period of up to 2 years, subject to satisfying the requirements of Tier 1 at the time of the application.
Can I change my employer?
Providing you give your employer the sufficient length of notice and you do not break any contract rules with the employer then you can change employers. If you change your employer within the first year of occupation, we will simply recalculate the 15% + VAT payment for your new job.

Do UK Permits and Recruitment provide any services for free?
Yes. We provide a free assessment of your eligibility, free processing of your dependants and a free job finders service. We are also able to offer free advice on any preliminary queries you may have regarding immigration to the UK generally. Please note that free information regarding immigration is also available from the OISC (see www.oisc.gov.uk). The OISC are an advisory governmental body that regulate immigration with whom UK Permits and Recruitment is registered.
What if I want to stop my application immediately?
You are very free to do so, we will charge you the very least possible to cover the fact we will have immediately begun pursuing your case. We will not charge you for the services you may have pledged to use.
Where are the hidden costs?
There are no hidden costs anywhere. The prices you see are the prices we charge, no more and no less. We even offer a number of free services such as finding recruitment, placing applicants into interviews and also the appeals procedure. Please note that the government fees required on submission of the visa are not included with our package.
Will I need to visit the UK before I apply for the Tier 1 General?
